I started flipping iPhones that I purchased from FB marketplace out of college for some extra money and realized this wasn’t scalable. I didn’t have a website so I relied on getting the potential client on the phone and convincing them I was a standup and honest business owner. I then started purchasing bulk lots from liquidation websites and selling on eBay/Amazon,  and after a few poor purchases and a bunch of inventory, I realized that wasn’t my forte. My background is in industrial engineering so it made more sense for me to run an operation instead.

Many sellers outsourced their packaging and logistic services, and I was already renting a warehouse, so I joined every Amazon FBA FB group there was and began DMing anyone looking for prep services (the modern cold call). I didn’t have a website so I relied on getting the potential client on the phone and convincing them I was a standup and honesty business owner. I now operate a 10k sq ft warehouse and prep/ship approximately 15k units a week.
